260 Room Hotel Project

Cheju Island, Korea

The Cheju Beach Hotel project was for a 240-room destination resort on the shores of the East China Sea and on Cheju Island, Korea – about an hour’s flight from Seoul.

The hotel is designed along an axial, sky lit atrium that features a six-story waterfall among multiple interior pools of water. Sited to respect the natural coastline while showcasing views of the seashore. The structural system calls for cast in place, reinforced concrete.
