New Mixed Use Development

Chicago, IL

The program brief for this project was for a commercial-residential mixed-use development located on a prominent intersection in Chicago’s North Center neighborhood at Irving, Damen and Lincoln Avenues. This, six level, structure consists of a poured-in-place, reinforced concrete structural frame, modular brick and dry-cast limestone trim on the exterior. There are 32 condominiums on 4 levels, a commercial level on the ground floor and a lower-level parking structure below grade.

The design was inspired by many industrial-era factories which once lined the nearby Ravenswood manufacturing corridor which included several with Prairie-style detailing.
